Cottage Street Retreat is a cute apartment/cottage located on private property, in downtown Bar Harbor. Set apart from the owner's main house, this adorable, quiet, cozy little space is a great in-town location. Just off Cottage Street, everything is within walking distance, including the Bar Harbor shoreline and beach, just a 5 minute walk. Enjoy the night life, walk to the shops and the pier, or catch the Island Explorer Bus and visit the other villages on Mount Desert Island. Acadia National Park is a mile away!

This two bedroom abode features a king bedroom and a bedroom with two double beds, sleeping a maximum of 6. There is a spacious living room, kitchen and full bathroom. A small outdoor deck has a picnic table and gas BBQ. The backyard provides some play space for the kids, too.

Amenities include cableTV/DVD, high speed internet (WIFI), washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, CD/Radio, all linens, parking for two cars, microwave, coffeemaker—all the usual comforts of home. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abe Museum, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream shops!
