Gay's Tree Top is a sweet little cottage tucked away from the crowds, in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor! It's located on a small lane behind the bank (off of Main Street) and is right next door to Gay's Garden Cabin. The cottage enjoys many windows for a bright, open, airy feel. It has a nice balcony with seating and lovely grounds. Cozy and comfortable it's idea for 2-4 guests and their pet. Walk to everything in downtown Bar Harbor: restaurnats, the harbor, shops and ice cream parlours! It's also accessible to the Shore Path, a great spot for your morning stroll! Gay's Tree Top is a wonderful spot for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation!
This adorable little cottage, which is all on the 2nd floor) features two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed with open master bathroom (tub only).
The double bedroom is a loft-style bed (ladder stairs going up). There is a bathroom connected to this bedroom. There is also a twin-sized air mattress that can be used in this room too.
The kitchen and living area consist of an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and large windows allowing plenty of natural light. Sliding glass doors open to a wrap around deck which affords a panoramic view of the gardens. Enjoy sitting outdoors with your morning coffee and evening cocktails!

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbe Museum, enjoy a whale watch boat ride, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream shops!
