Over 100 years old, Acadian Charm was once the home of Ardra Tarbell, who worked alongside George B. Dorr, the “father of Acadia National Park” and its first Superintendent. Located on a small side street in downtown, it’s easily walkable to restaurants, shopping, the Village Green, the pier and the Sand Bar Beach! Everything is new and fresh in this elegant 2-story cottage. The first floor features a beautiful kitchen, comfortable living room with bay window, dining room, laundry room, 1/2 bathroom, and a queen bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower).
The second floor features 1 king bedroom, 1 queen bedroom, and a bedroom with twin bed and roll out trundle bed (two twins). These twins can also be pushed together to make for a “king” bed. There is also a shared full bathroom (with tub) on the 2nd floor.
There is an appealing front porch with seating, and a smallish side yard with BBQ grill.

There are several access points to Acadia National Park, within 2 miles!
Bar Harbor has lots of fun things to do, like whale watch tours, sea kayak tours, bike rentals, scooter rentals, lighthouse tours, sightseeing bus tours, and much more. In the area there is also mini-golf (in addition to 3 golf courses), water park, the Abbe Museum, airplane sightseeing tours, hiking, walking—fun for the whole family!
