Rebecca’s Wharf
Rebecca’s Wharf is a sensational property, right on the harbor in Southwest Harbor, with its own private dock! Two buildings comprise this wonderful family “compound”, making it the perfect place for your family or extended family vacation. There are several decks for outdoor relaxation, including the awesome roof deck, where you can enjoy the glorious sights of the harbor (and sunsets every evening from the deck or fire pit!). The dock extends out beyond the tide and even has electricity. Bring your yacht, power boat or kayaks! And it’s a short walk to downtown Southwest Harbor for restaurants, sandwich shops, stores and bike rentals.
The front building (that’s right on the water) has two floors. The lower level features a king bedroom (with en suite shower bathroom) and two queen bedrooms with a shared shower bathroom. The king bedroom also has a sleep sofa.
The upper level of the front building features a kitchen, dining area, large sitting area and full bathroom. There are spectacular views of the harbor from inside and from the front decks that overlook the water. There is an exterior spiral staircase that leads up to the roof deck!
The rear building (road side) main level features 1 king bedroom with shower-only bathroom, a sitting area and a full kitchen!
The second floor of the rear building features 2 bedrooms: 1 king with full bathroom and a bedroom with bunk beds (1 twin, 1 double). There is also a shower-only bath on this floor and another sitting area (that also has a sleep sofa)!
The lower level of the rear building features a wonderful new family room with TV and games, including foosball, air hockey, ping pong and Wii games. There is also a sleep sofa in the new family room and a half bathroom!
Amenities include private dock with electricity, two full kitchens, 2 dishwashers, washer/dryers, A/C units in all bedrooms and great room on 2nd floor of front building, 6+ cable flatscreen TVs, WiFi, gas BBQ grill, microwave, DVD player.
This is an amazing property for a large or extended family, with the privilege of your own private dock right on the gorgeous harbor. Enjoy views of yachts, lobster boats, kayakers and more! There is direct water access too, to launch your kayak. Rebecca’s Wharf is a very unique vacation experience!
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, whale watching, canoeing (kayak and canoe tours), lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, wonderful dining, shopping, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbe Museum, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream/dairy bars!
