Sweet cottage right on the shores of Union Bay in Trenton, just 10 minutes to the bridge onto Mount Desert Island. Idyll Shores is just that: an idyllic peaceful property with lovely trees and a wonderful sandy shoreline! Enjoy lovely sunsets from the deck, kayak the calm waters, beachcomb for seaglass! The cozy cottage provides the perfect spot for your Acadia vacation. And such a treat to have your own wondeful beach!
Idyll Shores features two bedrooms (one king, two twins), a full bath, living room (with sleep sofa), eat-in kitchen (with lovely decorative old fashioned stove). The ocean views from the kitchen and living room windows are wonderful!
Amenities include: cable TV (one), WIFI, gas BBQ, picnic table. Dining table seats 4-6, local telephone, AC in king bedroom. Sorry, no dishwasher or washer/dryer.
Bar Harbor is just a 25 minute drive from the cottage and the main entrance to Acadia National Park is just 20 minutes! Activities in the area include swimming, boating, hiking, biking, fishing, sightseeing, kayak tours, shopping, dining, whale watching. Access to golf courses, public tennis courts, water park, miniature golf, horseback riding, and the Abbe Museum!
