Seaside Chalet

Seaside Chalet is a handsome chalet-style cabin on the shores of Sorrento, a lovely oceanside community. The 2 acre property enjoys gorgeous views of Flanders Bay, 250′ of rocky/sandy shoreline (great for beachcombing and kayaking!) and a wonderful deck for memorable outdoor family gatherings! Located just 10 minutes from Schoodic Point (a branch of Acadia National Park), 50 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor, and 40 minutes to the main entrance to Acadia National Park in Hulls Cove. This property is a terrific family vacation spot, private and peaceful, but close enough to all the attractions of downeast Maine.

The main (upper) level features a large living room with gorgeous stone fireplace and very high ceilings, sitting area, dining area, kitchen, master king bedroom, a queen bedroom and a bedroom with two twins. There are two full bathrooms too. Maximum 6 guests.

Amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, blender, cookware and dining ware. There is satellite TV in the living room and in master bedroom, DVD player, landline phone and WIFI. There is a gas BBQ grill, outdoor dining and seating.

Guests have use of the two car garage (lower level).

Acadia National Park is just 40 minutes away (even closer if you visit Schoodic Point)! Bar Harbor has lots of fun stuff to do, like whale watch tours, sea kayak tours, bike rentals, scooter rentals, lighthouse tours, sightseeing bus tours, and much more. In the area there is also mini-golf (in addition to the 4 golf courses), water park, the Abbe Museum, airplane sightseeing tours, hiking, walking—fun for the whole family!

This is a Sunday to Sunday rental. Ask about off-week weekly rentals, too.
