Merry Glen Cottage

Recently renovated and feeling like a new cottage, Merry Glen is a charming place for your family to stay while enjoying Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Situated In a quiet neighborhood, it’s just a block from the lovely Glen Mary Park, where there are pretty woods to walk through and swing sets for kids to enjoy! You can also walk easily to the Great Meadow Loop and the Jesup Path, walking trails that take you into Acadia, including Sieur De Mont Springs!

This1400 sq ft. cozy cottage features 3 bedrooms (all on the 2nd floor): two queen bedrooms and bedroom with two twins. There is a bathroom with shower on the second floor too. On the main level is a brand new kitchen, living room, dining area and bathroom with shower.

There’s a nice new wooden deck off the back with gas BBQ and seating too, as well as plenty of parking.

Amenities include a gas BBQ grill, outdoor furnishings, one cable TV (in living room), DVD player, WIFI, some A/C, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Note: there is no landline phone but cell service is good.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors lots to do! From the cottage you can easily bike into Acadia (from lower Ledgelawn Ave). Enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, golf, tennis, boating, nature walks, beaching, deep sea fishing, whale watching, museums, shopping and, of course, terrific dining choices. And don’t forget: the best lobster comes from here!
