Foxfield Shores is an adorable, rustic oceanfront cabin located on desirable Lopaus Point, in the village of Bernard, on the “quiet side” of Mount Desert Island. The one bedroom cabin is nestled in 3+ acres of gorgeous woods and has 200′ of private shoreline with panoramic views over Blue Hill Bay. It features a relaxing deck overlooking the shore, where wonderful kayaking and beachcombing await you (talk about the ultimate private “glamping” experience)! Enjoy the ocean breezes while watching lobster boats pass by and nearby ospreys nest. Cap off your day marveling at the stunning sunsets. Just a 10 minute drive to the village of Southwest Harbor, for shopping and dining, 25 minutes to Bar Harbor and just a couple minutes drive to the famous Thurston’s Lobster Pound, a favorite among locals and visitors alike for fresh seafood! Foxfield Shores is convenient to all the attractions of Mount Desert Island, while offering a very private and peaceful retreat for your vacation of 2-4 guests!

This adorable cabin features a large open room with living room seating (with sleep sofa), renovated kitchen with all new appliances and dining table (that overlooks the deck and water), wood stove. There are also two twin daybeds in this great room.

There is also has a queen bedroom and newly renovated bathroom with shower.

Amenities include Smart TV (no cable), WIFI, gas BBQ grill, A/C in great room,dishwasher, washer/dryer, toaster, microwave, baseboard electric heat, fire pit!

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer a multitude of activities, including whale watch tours, lighthouse tours, hiking, biking, kayaking, museum tours, gardens and of course fine dining and plenty of delicious seafood! On the “quite side” visit the Bass Harbor lighthouse, Seawall picnic area, the Seal Cove Auto Museum, and ride the ferry to Swan’s Island for the day!
