Coastal Rose Cottage

Coastal Rose Cottage is a gorgeous oceanfront cottage with an excellent shoreline for kayaking, paddleboarding, strolling. It has a boat ramp, should you have a boat to bring, to launch at high tide! The accomodations are lovely, with a main house and “annex” adding a 3rd bedroom and private suite! High vaulted ceilings and a spectacular granite fireplace (decorative only) add to the beautiful ambience of this lovely seaside property! Located at the end of a rural road, it’s a private space for your vacation!

Enjoy amazing vistas and spectacular sunsets. The outdoor space includes a small deck outdoor dining and seating and relaxing adirondack chairs! Go onto the shore to swim and walk the sandy shoreline. The water becomes deep, making it great for bringing your small boat to launch. Under the shaded trees is even a bocce ball court! Plenty of ways for family and friends to relax and spend a memorable vacation on the coast of Maine!
The main cottage features a living room and dining area with large windows overlooking the ocean! There is a master queen bedroom with en suite bathroom (tub/shower combo). There is another queen bedroom and a bathroom with walk-in shower with laundry facilities.

The “annex” or “guest room” building features a queen bedroom, living room space, kitchenette and bathroom with shower only. NOTE: this is part of the full rental. It will NEVER be rented separately.
There is also a queen air mattress, so property can sleep up to 8 guests.

Amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, all linens, cookware, dining ware, beach chairs, gas BBQ grill, cable TV, WIFI, A/C in the main floor, standby generator.

Coastal Rose Cottage is about a 25-minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor—where you’ll find great seafood, restaurants, a movie theatre, bike and scooter rentals, shopping—and a 22-minute drive to the main entrance to Acadia National Park (although just 10 minutes to the Information Center on Thompson Island). Acadia offers visitors mountain hiking, bicycling, beaching, and some of the most beautiful vistas in the world! Also enjoy whale watch tours, golf at Kebo Valley (top rated PGA course), the ferry to Nova Scotia and more! There are also some other activities nearby the cottage, like Acadia Fun Park (water park), several lobster “pounds” serving delicious seafood, sightseeing plane rides, and the Great Maine Lumberjack Show!

Note: pricing listed below is for 6 guests. With air mattress (provided) can accommodate up to 8 guests. $200 extra for each extra guest.
