Nestled in the village of Hall Quarry, Red Quarry Cottage is a sweet, cozy, completely renovated 3 bedroom cottage, conveniently located to all recreational, shopping, and culinary experiences Mount Desert Island has to offer guests! Newly renovated inside and out, Red Quarry Cottage offers all new appliances, furnishings, bedding, beach towels, gas grill, and more! (New furnished photos coming soon). Enjoy the sights (distant) and sounds of Somes Sound from the comfort of Adirondack chairs on the expansive front deck. The short trek to beautiful Echo Lake Beach for swimming and kayaking, and access to some of Acadia’s best hiking trails make this cottage a perfect vacation option for couples or families, who will find everything you need to make your vacation comfortable and memorable. Southwest Harbor and Bar Harbor are 8 and 15 minutes by car.
The first floor of the cottage features a great room with living area and kitchen. There is a queen bedroom and full bathroom, as well.
The second floor features two bedrooms: one double bedroom and one bedroom with two twin beds. The property sleeps 6 guests.
Amenities include WIFI, microwave, cable TV, A/C first floor bedroom, parking for 4 cars. NOTE: there is no dishwasher.
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer a multitude of activities, including whale watch tours, lighthouse tours, hiking, biking, kayaking, museum tours, gardens and of course fine dining and plenty of delicious seafood!
Dogs are permitted.
