This newly renovated in-town Bar Harbor cottage offers a comfortable, tasteful, and accommodating spot for your visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Located on the ‘edge’ of the downtown area, The Bar Harbor House is convenient to restaurants, shops, bike rentals and the harbor. It’s also just a mile from several entry points to Acadia’s Park Loop Road! This 4-bedroom house has spectacular landscaping and features a beautiful patio area for outdoor dining and two old-fashioned porches. It’s a wonderful property for your group of up to 10!
The main level of the house features a living room (with original hardwood flooring meticulously restored) with a sleep sofa, sitting room (and proprane fireplace), dining area, beautiful new kitchen, master king bedroom and bathroom with shower.
The second floor features another king bedroom, and two queen bedrooms, as well as two full bathrooms.
Amenities include A/C (living room, king bedrooms), cable TVs (in living room and all bedrooms), BlueRay, WIFI, washer/dryer, dishwasher, gas BBQ, linens, parking for 2 cars, microwave, coffeemaker, and outdoor furnishings.
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbey Museum, enjoy a whale watch boat ride, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream shops!
