Camp Sweet Camp

Long Pond is our largest lake on Mount Desert Island and offers hours of enjoyment for everyone! Fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating—something for everyone! We are so pleased to be adding Camp Sweet Camp to our property roster! This awesome 4 bedroom cabin sits in a quiet wooded setting with its own dock and float right on Long Pond. It’s a wonderful family retreat and just 15 minutes or so to downtown Bar Harbor; 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor! There’s a nice covered front porch, and platform deck right near the water’s edge!
The camp features two-stories. On the first floor is the kitchen, living room, dining room, a queen bedroom and a bathroom (with shower). The living room features high ceilings and a decorative fireplace.
The second floor features a king bedroom, a double bedroom and a bedroom with 2 twin beds. There is also a full bathroom (tub and shower combo) on the 2nd floor.
Dock can accommodate a boat up to 16′, there is 4′ of water at the end of it. Bring your kayaks or have some delivered to the property. You can also rent, by the day, paddle boats and kayaks at “pond’s end”, a short “row” to the camp.
Amenities include WIFI, microwave, gas BBQ, cable TV (one), A/C in two bedrooms, washer/dryer, parking for several cars. NOTE: there is no dishwasher.
You’re just minutes from several Acadia hiking trails, just 10 minutes to downtown Southwest Harbor and 15 minutes to Bar Harbor and one of the main entrances to Acadia National Park’s Loop Road. Our area offers a multitude of activities, including whale watch tours, lighthouse tours, hiking, biking, kayaking, museum tours, gardens and of course fine dining and plenty of delicious seafood!
This is a Sunday to Sunday rental.
Dog permitted. Sorry, no cats.
