Villa de Mont
Villa de Mont is one of the lovely Victorian style houses located in downtown Bar Harbor! Once an Inn, it is now a wonderful spacious house for larger family groups! Villa de Mont is located just a couple blocks from the Village Green and the Sand Bar Beach. This 3-story gem has an old fashioned feel to it, with colorful wallpapered rooms with eaves and varied windows, and a sweet front porch! And your group will enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to all the downtown restaurants, shops and activities!
The first floor features a renovated “cooks” kitchen, living room with a nice bay window and gas fireplace, and a dining room. There is a den/TV room with a sleeper sofa. And the first queen bedroom is located here with newly renovated bathroom (shower only).
The second floor features 1 king bedroom and 2 queen bedrooms. Each, of which, has their own bathroom! The king bedroom has the spacious outdoor deck off of it!
The third floor features 2 more queen bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a small balcony (accessed from the hall) with distant views of Dorr Mountain!
In the lower level (basement) there is also another full bathroom, as well as a TV room and room with foosball game.
Outside there is some seating (toward the rear of the driveway) with BBQ.
Amenities include A/C in all bedrooms and 1st floor common area, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV in den and living room (SMART TVs with streaming channels provided), WIFI and parking for 4 cars.
The property has easy access to Acadia National Park too! There are several entry points to the Park Loop Road within a mile or so of Villa de Mont!
Bar Harbor has lots of fun things to do, like whale watch tours, sea kayak tours, bike rentals, scooter rentals, lighthouse tours, sightseeing bus tours, and much more. In the area there is also mini-golf (in addition to 4 golf courses), water park, the Abbe Museum, airplane sightseeing tours, hiking, walking—fun for the whole family!
