Lakeside Haven

Lakeside Haven is a new listing for the 2025 season! It’s an adorable cabin right on Echo Lake, with a shared private dock (in a small little “community” of 6 cabins). Echo Lake provides wonderful swimming, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding opportunities, while being just a mile or so to several Acadia hiking trails! Just 14 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor, 6 minutes to Southwest Harbor, this centralized location is the perfect spot for your summertime retreat!

The small, airy cabin has an “open-ceiling” design, and features two double bedrooms, and one bathroom with a shower (in the tub, which cannot be used as tub, for water conservation). There is a living room, dining/entry area with large picture window overlooking the lake, a small kitchen (note: this kitchen only has a mini-fridge, so cold food storage is a bit limited).

Amenities include WIFI, microwave, Smart TV, cooling fans, parking for one to two cars. NOTE: there is no washer/dryer, dishwasher, cable/satellite service.

Please note, the water at this property is good for showering, cooking, washing. However, it is not good for drinking. Owner will provide a jug a water but you need to provide your own water if you need more.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer a multitude of activities, including whale watch tours, lighthouse tours, hiking, biking, kayaking, museum tours, gardens and of course fine dining and plenty of delicious seafood!

Dogs are not permitted.
