Atlantic House
Located on a quiet side street in downtown Bar Harbor, Atlantic House is a sweet cape-style cottage with lovely classic furnishings (newly renovated!). Walk to everything in downtown Bar Harbor—the pier, the Shore Path, the Village Green (where you can enjoy band concerts in the summer), restaurants, shops, and the free Island Explorer Bus departure location. A large backyard and deck provide lovey space for childrens’ play and relaxing picnic dinners! The perfect home base for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation!
The main level features a lovely living room with fireplace (duralogs only) and flat screen TV. There is an eat-in dining room, modern kitchen and master king bedroom with full bathroom, as well as the exit to the back yard and deck!
The 2nd floor features 3 bedrooms: a king, a queen and a bedroom with a single twin bed (sleeping a maximum of 7 guests). There is also a full bathroom on this floor.
Amenities include cable TV (in living room), A/C (heat pumps on both floors), DVD, WIFI internet, washer/dryer, gas BBQ, linens, parking for 2 or more cars, microwave, coffeemaker, and outdoor furnishings on the deck (dining, sitting).
Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbe Museum, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream shops!
