Federal Street Cottage

Located in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor, Federal Street Cottage is a charming, well-appointed, 3-bedroom classic Victorian-style home. It features elegant decor, beautiful restored/maintained adornments and trimmings. Enjoy the screened/glassed in sunporch on the front of the home—great spot for morning coffee or an afternoon nap. Leave your car in the driveway: it’s just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants, the Shore Path and the “Bar”, the Village Green and our town pier!

First floor features an entry way, charming original kitchen with modern amenities, comfortable living room with TV, and dining room.

Second floor consists of the three bedrooms—primary with a queen bed and TV, 2nd bedroom with a queen bed (both bedrooms have air-conditioner) and a 3rd bedroom with twin bunk beds, and a full bathroom (shower only).

The lower level (basement) has a bonus toilet/sink combo that is curtained, laundry sink, and full size washer and dryer.

The third floor is not accessible to guests.

Private driveway accommodates 2 cars, ensuring convenience for our guests with exclusive parking.

Amenities include A/C in queen bedrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher.

Guests also have access to Wi-Fi, two Stand-Up paddle boards, two Old Town one-person lake kayaks with paddles, a mens trek bike, four beach chairs, two sun umbrellas, two canvas beach totes, eight beach towels, an insulated cooler with wheels, four folding camp chairs, and a Yakima Roof Rack that fits easily onto existing car/suv roof rails for kayak transport. These items are stored in a locked garage and are available to guests that sign a liability waiver.

Enjoy the many activities Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park have to offer, such as whale watch tours, sea kayak tours, bike rentals, scooter rentals, lighthouse tours, sightseeing bus tours, hiking, swimming, and much more. In the area there is also mini-golf, two golf courses, water park, the Abbe Museum, airplane sightseeing tours—fun for the whole family!
