Big House is actually a lovely apartment located in downtown Bar Harbor, overloking Main Street, and just a 1/2 block from the Village Green. The lovely, modern accommodations make for a perfect home base for your Bar Harbor/Acadia vacation! Located on the second/third floor, over a Bar Harbor restaurant. It’s spacious and open, with beautiful polished concrete floors and countertops, urban/loft ceilings. It provides stylish, relaxing accommodations for your guests. Walk to everything in-town, including the Shore Path, the Village Green, bike rentals, the free Island Explorer bus depot, downtown shops, restaurants and the harbor! Enjoy a comfortable, convenient space when you’re not hiking, biking or walking Acadia National Park!

Big House features 3 bedrooms (sleeping a maximum of 6), 2 bathrooms. The main level (2nd floor) includes the living room area, dining area, and kitchen. There is also a king bedroom, sitting area and full bathroom.

The upper level (3rd floor) has two bedrooms: one king and a twins bedroom (two twins). There is bathroom with tub and shower, and laundry, on this floor, as well.

Amenities include A/C in the bedrooms and great room (heat pump), ROKU TV (no cable), WIFI internet, dishwasher, washer/dryer, linens, parking for 2 cars.

Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park offer visitors a variety of activities, including hiking, biking, boating, lake swimming, carriage road walks, horse back riding, deep sea fishing! Visit the Abbe Museum, sail on the Margaret Todd, take a Jackson Lab visitors tour, enjoy tea and popovers at the Jordan Pond House, golf at a PGA top-rated course, play tennis. Kids activities include water park, miniature golf, beaches, and lots of ice cream shops!

Located in the same building as Bar Harbor Loft West and Bar Harbor Loft East. Rent two or more for larger groups.
