Shore Enuf
Wonderful views and incredible proximity to the shore is offered by this charming oceanfront cottage. Shore Enuf enjoys western views across the bay (toward Blue Hill Mountain), and gorgeous sunsets! It’s a quiet location with panoramic ocean views and only 20 feet between the living room slider and the ocean at high tide! The waters in front of the cottage are terrific for kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding. There is a rocky beach area to one side of the cottage and another adjacent beach that guests can access below the high tide mark. Guests will enjoy accommodations that are very sweet and modern, with beautiful woodworking.
The main floor of the cottage features a living room and dining area with large windows making the most of the ocean vistas! There is a half bathroom off the living room. There is also a kitchen and master king bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower only).
The 2nd floor features an open loft-style bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower on the 2nd floor.
Amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, all linens, cookware, dining ware, beach chairs, cable TV, WIFI, A/C in the main floor, standby generator, small fenced-in dog area. There is a furnished outdoor deck with gas BBQ for enjoying the wonderful Maine summer/fall weather.
Shore Enuf is about a 25-minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor—where you’ll find great seafood, restaurants, a movie theatre, bike rentals shopping—and a 22-minute drive to the main entrance to Acadia National Park (although just a few minutes to the Information Center). The park features mountain hiking, bicycling, beaching, and some of the most beautiful vistas in the world! Also enjoy whale watch tours, golfing at Kebo Valley (top rated PGA course), the ferry to Nova Scotia and more! There are also some other activities nearby the cottage, like Acadia Fun Park, several lobster “pounds” serving delicious seafood, sightseeing plane rides, and the Great Maine Lumberjack Show!
