Brightly Shores

It’s back! Brightly Shores is a sweet waterfront cottage coming back to us for the end of the 2026 season! View amazing sunsets over an acre of land outside and kayak from your own ledgy shoreline. Watch the Union River Bay with the tide from hundreds of feet of rocky shores to right up to the back of a nice sized lawn for the kids to play.

There are lovely Bay views from the kitchen, the dining room, the master bedroom and the two living rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

It’s located just 27 minutes from downtown Bar Harbor and less than that to Acadia National Park (just over 20 minutes to Acadia’s Parkman Mountain) , and 10 minutes from Ellsworth’s shopping and Main Street restaurants and bars.

The interior is renovated with all new appliances, granite countertops in the kitchen, hardwood floors throughout, and tasteful decor.

The king bedroom on the lower level leads to living room with a sofa that pulls out as a queen sized sofa bed, and bathroom with oversized shower. The queen bedroom is upstairs with full bathroom. Sleeps a maximum of 6 guests.

On the main level is a living room, kitchen, queen bedroom, living room and dining area. On the lower level is a family room, a king bedroom, and a bathroom.

Amenities include cable TV, A/C, BBQ grill (gas), microwave oven, WIFI, washer/dryer, dishwasher.

This is a Sunday to Sunday Rental.

NOTE: All cottages come equipped with bed linens, bathing towels, dish towels, basic cookware, diningware, cooling fans, and basic cleaning supplies. You will need to bring personal consumable items like napkins, bath soap, shampoo, toilet tissue and paper towels.
